Okay, recap for me, k? Some of this is repetitive, just humor me. Some of these I don't really think would cause this, but let's be thorough.


The car is an '89 and the replacement engine is a '86.5, correct?
Have you double checked the spark plug wires are plugged in in the correct order?
What year ECU are you using?
What year injectors are you using AND what color are their tips (yellow or green)?
Do you have the injector relay installed?
Have you verified that the injectors plugs are connected in the right order?
Is the air flow meter plugged in?
You have pulled the distributor to ensure it is at 0?, same for cam gears and for the crank, correct?
Have you checked that ALL grounds are securely connected?

Try pulling the dizzy and rotating the shaft 180? and reinstall... I've heard that's happened to a fair number of people.

I'm a bit lost here too other than what I've already mentioned.
