Okay, I looked at mine and I've got screw on J adapters... I thought that might be the case. Next time you're at the autoparts store check Bosch blades, I think a lot of theirs come with these adapters.
I don't know if the rear always had the J or not, I'll have to look; I don't know if mine has it.
EDIT: Nope, adapter on my rear arm as well.
