I run out here in CA at Willow Springs and Fontana California Speedway. Laguna Seca is on the schedule but I have not had a chance at that yet...can't wait. I go through a club,
http://www.speedventures.com/ which makes all the arrangements. They are not directly affiliated with these tracks, they just put together the private events so with a group rate the cost is reasonable...between 150 and 400 a day depending on the track. Best money I ever spent.
Look for a similar club in your area.
