Distributer Line up on an 87 7mge

Does anyone know what I am supposed to line up the mark on the distributer with my dist looks different thant the one on the service repair guide for the 1990 online thing. The only thing I can see to line it up with is an indented circle. Theres a line indented but no differences at all on the gears. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
