Long time listener, first time caller...
Hi there folks! I'm not neccesarily new, but I'm new. (Trying to take my mind off cigarettes.) I'm looking to swap a M/T into my A/T MkIII and I was wondering of it would be easier to put it in from the top with an engine attached, or to bolt it on from the bottom, sans engine. My 7M is nearing the 300k mile mark, and I want to do a JDM 7M swap anyway, but I want this tranny swap to go as smoothly as possible.

1989 A/T (meh...) 7M-GTE. HKS intake, Custom exhaust, MHG, recently replaced factory turbo, RS*R springs, and too many damn miles on it. More to come.
