  1. The MKIII does not have a twin turbo engine. It is a single turbo engine.
  2. No, they are not the same. One is a 7m-gte. The other is a 2jz-gte.
  3. If it's a TT, it's almost certainly an mkiv tt. With "project cars" you have no idea how bad the problems are, so I really couldn't advise you about whether or not it's worth $1500 without knowing more specifics. My guess is that it's a scam, since mkiv tt's never go for that low - even if they're wrecked/flooded.
