Again, check for signal coming out and going in to the cam sensor. If the cam sensor isn't sending a signal out (or getting proper voltage in), the computer can't send a signal to the coil. Also, have you checked the mass air flow sensor on the intake duct? A previous Supra I had wouldn't run without it being installed. It didn't run that great with it on either, so I sold it. Bought it at auction (not running) for $50. Sold it on eBay (running) for $600. Sure it was ragged out, but what did I care, I made some money and moved on to the next car. Might be that your engine has a MAP sensor, I don't know. But a few more things to think about checking. Is the knock sensor plugged in (if it has one)?
