Extended O2 sensor?????

does anybody know of an extended O2 sensor???? The previous owner jimmy rigged all the wiring and saw that he also extended the o2 sensor by splicing in. The o2 mount on my DP sits a little further back and the o2 sensors from Autozone and Kragen wont reach. Also is it OK to even splice into O2 Sensors??? From what i have heard this is not recommended at all? Any info would be appreciated.
