Default my 2nd mk2 supra...powered by an '87 7M-GTE

My SHOGUN2. A 1983 Celica Supra 7M-GTE turbo conversion. The car was originally from L.A. It has 1985 nose, hatch, interior and 141,000 miles+ on its original 5MGE inline 6 DOHC engine. The Engine, harness and computer is from a 1987 Supra Turbo. The 7M-GTE of course was freshened before install with new rod and main bearings, new oil pump, rebuilt head, rebuilt and balanced injectors, a strut tower bar for better turning and handling, ARP head stud kit and an HKS metal head gasket. Engine swap was professionally done by the great folks in Washington. Everything works at my satisfaction. Custom made A/C lines, MSD tach adapter to convert signal for factory tach, Blitz turbo timer, Autometer boost and air/fuel gauges, remote mount oil filter, custom made higher capacity radiator, 3" mandrel bent exhaust from the turbo with 3" high flow cat and Xcelerator muffler. Nice tone, not obnoxious. Custom made hard pipe kit for the stock intercooler, ceramic coated hard pipes and heatshields for the turbo. Rear axle (3.73) rebuilt by River City Differentials in CA and Detroit Tru-Trac installed early 2006. Eibach pro lowering kit springs with KYB GR2 shocks and struts are on the car which made a significant 1 1/2" drop. Stock wheels with Yokohama Avid ST tires are on the car right now. Entire interior replaced from a 1985 because the original interior was faded and worn out. Tint, alarm, custom made immobilizer to supplement the alarm, new windshield, and new front end bushings were replaced last year. Very smooth, fast and set up for reliability. Dynoed at 230 rwhp, 256 rwtq at 9lbs of boost. It can make more than that with few additional bucks and upgrades, but I set it up as my daily car. Since the swap was done, I put approximately 30,000+ miles already and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country. Drove it to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Francisco and back to New Mexico few months ago with no problems. My inve$tment afterall is paying off.
