Hey Shiftysupra you dont have to relocate the ECU man do some research there is a lot of people like me that just did the tuck method and the ECU is in the stock location without extending the harness. Now that I got that out of the way 2500 plus install sounds kind of cheap considering all of the changes that have to be made and the fact that it is better to get a clip. Not so much for the 90 supra but just a good idea then you get all of the other stuff that the motor tranny ecu and harness do give you like the stock intercooler, piping, and so on. I would say if you have a NA and want to work it over it is cheaper to upgrade to a 7MGTE than go the 1JZ route unless you just have a want for the 1JZ. Don't think I am talking you out of it because I love mine but just have to be ready for all of the headache in putting it in and if you arent a really good mechanic then you would be best off not going that way at all. Also the 1JZ is a lot more reliable IMO than the 7M just because of the work you got to put into it to make it faster. If you dont believe me then ask Arron at driftmotion he will tell you the same thing they love the 1JZ over the 7M.
