Orange - is connected to igniction
Red - is connected to constant plus

Our problem is, that when the power hits the gauges, the light goes on, and the needle goes straight to max and then down againg and the light goes off, we have pressure ind the gauges so it is just the light that we can't get to work.

So now we're wondering why we can't get a constant light in the gauges.

Anyone how have those gauges, and have installed them that can help?
Just a guess - try turning the dash dimmer all the way down to full-dim. Toyota uses a 12V reference for the dimmer (i.e. not ground), so this really could be the problem...
