Question Radiator Blew Up!!! Help!!!!!

For the past two years, i've been having a TERRIBLE time with my 1987 supra....non-turbo, automatic. First it was running hot, but then i replaced the fan clutch and the thermostat, and that seemed to fix the problem.

After that, the temp. gauge would say it was within normal range, but when I would kill the engine, you could hear (and see, when you looked in the coolant resevoir) it boiling. Also, I had to add coolant quite frequently.

Today, I drove at around 45 mph for 35 or 40 minutes...when I stopped the car, I noticed a small amount of steam coming out from under the hood, and the radiator spilled coolant all over. After it had cooled for several hours, I put in water, then started the car. Just idling, the RPMs slowed, slowed some more, and then the car sputtered and started to die (I killed the engine by that point).

Tomorrow, I am going to get a new radiator. Do you think this is the problem? Any suggestions?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
