There's a wire that connects to the oil pressure sender. It just clips on and it's not the most robust connection. I'd start with checking there first. The sender is a small metal canister with a brass contact sticking out like a thumb tack. There's a rubber boot that is usually covering both contact and sender body. The sender is just in front of the oil filter, a little higher though right beneath the exhaust manifold.
