Lap that flucker.
Keep doing what youre doing.
rotate the pistons so you aren't sanding on those.
Use a feeler gauge and a level.
This will take a week the way you are doing it.
Get a dremel and work it.
The block is hard you can't fluck it up if you're careful.
SAnd it till its nice and shiny. You'll be fine.
Gem dust would be better than sand paper.
