just keep all your sensors off ur 87.

I know that i have a pre 89 engine in my 90 and i have had no problems

The thottle body is diffrent but the TPS uses the same resistances

For instance my TPS is to a pre 89 and i have a 90 ECU, cuases no problems not sure about any other parts....

hmm thats on the gte. n/m missed that part of ur title
