AAAAAAAAAH, he doesn't need a cone without a cai upgrade.
For stock. The stock k&n filter gets you noticable throttle responce.
If that # isn't the right one......, because .5er or not it should be the same air filter. That wasn't something that toyota changed mid stream.

Stocker k&n, MSD wires and blaster coil, walbro fuel pump. cf hood. front and rear shock struts. exhaust upgrade.. Start with the filter go to the wires new dist-cap and plugs. You may want to if you desire, swap to arp hardware, you can use a retorque anyways.

You should have a compression and leakdown test. Before you start retorquing anything.
