TPS = Throttle Position Sensor. The TPS is a sensor that's used to give the ECU an idea of how far the throttle is open (the air flow meter is what the ECU actualy uses to determine how much fuel to provide, but the TPS gives it info for minor tweaks) and it tells the ECU how quickly the throttle is being open. Testing and calibration info can be found here: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...spx?S=FI&P=101

Timing advance is when the spark plugs fire in relation to the position of the piston. Stock our spark plugs fire about when the crank has to move only 10? more to put the piston at the top. Firing the piston sooner can yield you a bit more power, but go too far and you'll be pushing the pistons directly down into the crankshaft and run the risk of killing your engine. If you have no experience with this I HIGHLY recommend you try to find someone in your area who can help you tweak it and who knows the limitations of the 7M.
