Code 31 is your Air Flow Meter(AFM).The Intake air temp sensor is intagrated into the MAF, located after your air filter, it has wiring going to it.
Your Mass air flow sensor is the screwed onto the metal housing you see in the pic. VVV
You will have to replace the air intake temp sensor and MAF as a whole, since their both integrated as one sensor.

Since you just got the car, I would reset the ecu to clear the codes and then run the car a while, and then do a diagnostic again and see what codes you get. The codes your getting may be old codes.
