Default Mk I Supra

There's no MkI page. My MkIII made a good attempt of some paddock/autocross action in the weekend ( 8/11 first way around dead last when we reversed the field -field, paddock with cones set up around it - but I was worried for my car and slowing down a bit by then, still happy with that ) so the MkIII is a damn fine car. I have an opertunity to get my grubby ignorant hands onto a MkI Supra half-finished club car. It looks good, and the MkI itself looks nice. Motor is standard, tho I've actually got a spare 7m if I need it.

But what about the origonal supra motor ? The I6 2600cc 4M-EU is what exactly? Anybody know how easy that thing is to find suitable sidedrafts for, and what sort of work can make that engine sing ?

I know they're lighter than the MkIII by a few hundred Kg and a 7m-gte would probably blitz most similar cars in that lite frame. Anybody know much about their handling and the origonal car and suspension ?

Any help, advice or opinons appreciated.

So I bought this old Honda bike, an NSR250. Bit of a street racer, I guess. I'm told they're fast.

Delivering it home with a friend driving the Supra for the first time. I drop gears and make a scream from the twin pipes flowing down this pony's flanks and it takes off like it's tail's on fire.

I look back when the Honda gets to its tap-out and the Supra's only two lengths behind. No one I've let ride my bike has told me its slow, they've all loved the thing. That car is a good thing indeed.
