Awsome forums guys lots of helpfull info and soo i figure i should explain my plans..
I am actually a Volvo freak "yes weird i know" and have made pretty good power with the factory volvo power train and trans.. My old wagon made about 330 wheel and ran 13.6 at 108mph which was pretty good considering but not really fast in the realm of cars here.. My plan is to put a 2jz-ge with a r154 trans into a 1982 Volvo 242 and with some weight reduction get it down around 2800-2900lb with driver.. My power goals are around 500-550 wheel and get the car to trap in the mid 130mph's.. here is a pic of the car and i will try to keep my progress posted..
Future plans are full coilover setup, ford 8.8, T67/t4 with tial 44, 550cc injectors, megasquirt ems and other goodies.
