What is involved (all parts, labor, price) in auto to manual swap???

hello everyone
i have a 1987 Toyota Supra NA and i want to convert the automatic tranny to a manual tranny. i'm sure it would be a project, but i want to know everything that's involved in doing so. the price of all the parts, labor times, etc... or does anyone know someone that does these kind of jobs? i'm later plannin on switching to GTE as well, but i want to get the transmission job out of the way. can a GTE manual tranny fit on a current GE motor? some people are sayin just buy a manual car if you want a manual, but i love my car and i want to convert it over. i'm sure this job has been done before, so the more feedback i get the better!!
