Hey guys. I had to replace my old targa top because I dropped it and it was bent and un-usable. So I went to a wrecker to get a new top. I had never had any leaks at all previously, so this leads me to believe it's the actual targa that is leaking and not the seals. Now I've done some reading as to common leaks and what not. It leaks from the front left and right corners, dripping onto the seats and partially on the floor mats. When I look inside the drain gutters for the targa I can see visible rust patches and even small holes where rust has corroded the metal. I am aware that the best idea is to buy either a different one that isn't rusted or just a straight up new top but I don't have that kind of money right now. I'm wondering if drying it out and silliconing inside the gutters is going to help me out? Anything else to try? I am also aware that older seals that have not been wet for a while shrink and just need to be wet again and they perk back up, but this is not the case as it's been raining for a week and it's still leaking. Please help me I can't stand this rotten stench plaguing my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
