If you value your car you wont though.. I just had a supra that I am about to purchase inspected at the toyota dealership.

They managed to come up with compression numbers of 180 down as low as 89 and 50, so they were like oho, 7000$ engine rebuild. Sparkplugs swimming in oil etc.

I give the report sheet to the guy selling the car and he nearly breaks into tears since they are telling him his baby is all effed up. Next day he takes it to his car mechanic to fix whatevers wrong with it and they find 3 bolts missing from the coilovers, cross threaded sparkplugs and after a good carbon flush 175 compression across all 6.

The only reason we could come up with was that Toyota was short staffed and has their janitor working on cars.

back on topic tho... yea the iridium does last longer..minimal price difference from the platinum tips as well.
