True, but I don't know why the gas mileage is only around 21 mpg. I have never worked on a more difficult car before. It obviously wasn't meant to be serviced much, at least with the engine in the car.

I'm making a few changes to make the turbo-side a bit easier to reassemble. There is one stud on the downpipe that is very hard to reach and turn so I'm going to cut it off, drill it out and replace with a stainless bolt/nut.

I had planned on welding or brazing some fittings on the turbo oil lines, but now I think I'll just braze them back w/o the fittings. I'm not sure that it would be much easier to turn the fittings as to get to the bolts in the block. If the temp. wasn't so high in the area I use a length of good viton tubing so I could pull the turbo easily, but it's just too hot there.

BTW, the small oil-supply line is carbon steel but the big corrogated return is stainless.
