If it runs and looks good, that's a great price. The a/c might be cheap, or it might be expensive, just depends on whats wrong. If the compressor is bad, you will be looking at about $6-700 total.

Start a new thread after you get the car and have it checked out and estimated. Be sure to have the shop write down exactly what they think will get it going. I do a/c work, so I can give some advice after I hear what they say, and quote.

Read the FAQs section thread on 'exhaust systems researched'.

You can't do a whole lot with the intake, but you can do a K&N cold air system.

After you get it, plan on spending some $$ on preventive maintenance. Like....all hoses and belts, flush cooling system, oil change, trans and diff oil change, power steering oil change.
