a pool of gas around the sparkplug????

need to fix that asap...or you will burn!
check the fuel rail for leaks around the line fittings. is it backfiring or missing? or both?
if it starts up, must be something simple...check plugs, wires, leaks, timing, ect. also about the timing...once i installed a cps 180deg out of phase. it would run but the timing was way out and it backfired alot.
