Default Dont forget pressure!

Another thing if you have an engine out of the car, make sure you have good oil pressure before you start it. Of course, when you build the engine you must prime the oil pump when you assemble it, but once its back together, i used a drill, with an old drive wheel in it, and used the cam belt to hook it up to the oil pump. I put an oil pressure gauge where the oil switch, or sensor is, and cranked it up. Dont do it for too long as the pump is working hard, and you only need about 500rpm to see a good amount of preassure in the gauge. You really dont want the head to run dry for any period of time, the cams and head cop a massive battering in split seconds, the last thing you want after a full rebuild.
