There was a good post somewhere on this forum on things to check before buying that are specific to Supras. Can't remember them all but do a search for it. A few things I did before buying mine (86.5 with 127K four years ago).
Check the frame rails for rust. This is a uni-body so rust in the frame is going to be expensive to repair.
Open the storage panels left/right in the back and stick your hand down there to feel for moisture or rot. Leaking rear window will put a lot of water there and it has no where to go. My left side was filled with water!
Check the spare tire "pit". Great place to collect water and lots of rust.
While crawling around check the fuel tank for rust, particularly the right/left front corners behind the tires. Toyota in their infinite wisdom put a shield there to protect from rocks/debris but it also collects and holds dirt/moisture. Caused a lot of rust-through conditions in those spots.
Smoke out of the exhaust? If so, what color?
Normal checks like oil (color, smell), coolant (color, smell), under the oil fill cap (color, smell), heater work?, A/C work, etc......
Just a few ideas.....
