If you're just looking to drain the fuel, there is a plug on the bottom of the tank that you can remove with a 3/8 drive ratchet.

If you're looking to drop it to clean it out, you may want to consider doing that fuel pump anyway. If it was my project, I'd spend the money on a quality unit just because it is likely the stock pump in the tank and I would not want to have to repeat the whole process in the future.

Before you do anything, try starting it and check the codes and report back here so we can help with any other issues it may have.
