Help Value this Supra
First time posting here, but I'm sure there will be many more.

My Dad purchased a 1994 Toyota Supra TT from the dealership and is the original owner to this day. I'll be buying it off him this summer and since its a family title transfer, I'll then become the proud original owner. But anyway, I'm having trouble determining a reasonable price (for both parties) given what seems to be lower KBB, NADA, and Edmunds prices vs. listing. I know people can ask whatever they want and they don't sell that that, but I figured the best group to ask would be the people who live and breath these cars.

I can track down pictures if need be, but its a 1994 Toyota Supra TT, 6-speed, black, targa, tan leather, with around 120k miles. Original clutch, bone stock, no accident or any major mechanical issues. There are some scratches from 15 years of daily driver wear and tear but nothing major. It's always been garaged, and never seen a night outside. The only known mechanical issue is leaky valve sleeves. Overall its in good condition and well maintained.

Whats everyone's thoughts on a fair value?
I'd guess about $20K, assuming it's a US-Spec Mkiv TT and it's never been modified, and never been in an accident.

Note that if the timing belt and spark plugs are original, they're due for a change. Other possible items for replacement/upgrade are the oem bov and the harmonic dampener. Please ask if you need more details on these items (I've got a lot more info, as you might expect).

This should be a good starting point for your valve stem seals. Note that only the exhaust-side need to be replaced:

What if you both agreed as about $20K as the base starting point, and then reduced it for the cost of the maintenance work + parts that needs to be done (eg. valve stem seals)?

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
