update.

i looked over the ic pipes and gaskets to search for leaks and have found no leaks, whith another pare of capable hands and better acces to equipment i have been able to pinpoint a leak. its the waste gate!!! its staying open and is not boosing properly i hear a hiss from the turbo and under the right front part of the engine bay.

i grabbed a pair of pliyers and tryed to move the rod on the wastegate and it hass little movment eather way, we rev it in neutral let it rev down half way then gave full gas and its not realising boost properly.

my questing is how much would a new waste gate cost and could i trust one from ebay(i dont think so but thats besides the point) would it be cheaper to get the turbo rebuilt and a new wastegate added. while im there i want to replace the exhause manifold gasket becuase its probably old and cracked and might be lossing exhsahust pressure. any suggestions and would an external wastegate be a better option( or more practicle)
