Now also some parts are specific to a certain revision, locale of sales, are classified as incompatible (even though they work fine often with little work)... There are also part which they merely aren't will to ship out of a given market. A replacement rear window is available from Japan, but it's not DOT certified, your glass shop is going to argue about not wanting to install it, and shipping will be costly.
A lot of the mission critical stuff is plentiful and there are third party companies refurbishing cores and performance companies building new parts all the time.
Kit availability comes and goes like the tide. Just save your money, learn about the reliability of the manufacturers and wait until they produce one you like.
