25 or 30 is fine, grab whatever you find, I had originally used female hex bolts, but later replaced them with pan head conventional hex bolts... they're just regular bolts with a broad washer like...

A fastener supply in just about any city should carry these bolts and grommets. The bolts are easier to work with but do not use them as an excuse to over tighten the covers. The spec is 22 INCH...
