get the 7mgte engine (turbo version)
metal head gasket and arp head studs (search to find more info on that) get cold air intake and full 3 inch exhaust some cusco or tein coilovers lexus afm 550cc injectors a good boost controller (greddy has a good one) walbro fuel pump make sure you have an lsd diff ( there is a good thread on this forum to find out what kind you have) and just take care of it and it will take care of you. if you plan on going over 350hp then get the r-154 trans |

first, swap in a turbo motor. dunno about the non turbo, but my turbo ate up lightly modded civics no problem. actually, only cars i've lost to so far are a Z06 vette and an Evo 8 pushin 20 psi (and he only won because we raced from a dig and the road was soaked) Last edited by flight doc89 : 02-01-2007 at 07:20 PM. |

Must be able to get enough hp to drift that thing if things like sprinters can. Hondas are fine unless you let them get too much of a lead on you, they're like bikes going for a low top speed and a low time until you reach it but that's all they are.

So I bought this old Honda bike, an NSR250. Bit of a street racer, I guess. I'm told they're fast. Delivering it home with a friend driving the Supra for the first time. I drop gears and make a scream from the twin pipes flowing down this pony's flanks and it takes off like it's tail's on fire. I look back when the Honda gets to its tap-out and the Supra's only two lengths behind. No one I've let ride my bike has told me its slow, they've all loved the thing. That car is a good thing indeed. |
