Default R32 Skyline GTR vs 4th Gen Supra

I have been saving for a car for quite a while, and im torn between an R32 Skyline GTR or a Supra 4th Gen. Both have powerful TT engines that can be modded easily, also the GTR is AWD which is good in wet and on launches. If i do go for the skyline, the newest i can get is a 1990 to go by Canada's 15 year old import laws, but the 4th Gen Supra only being sold in the US supposivly doesn't go by the same rules. Also, Supras are really hard to find in decent prices, non fraud, and decent shape. And there is a Skyline import shop in my city that has R32s in good shape that come in their doors regularly. I am quite familier with skylines, but supras are a grey area for me. If anyone has a good reason to pick one over the other and to help me decide on a car, the info would be much appreciated.

thats a tough decision...both cars are amazing...both have tunable and pretty much bulletproof motors from teh factory, each has their advantages and disadvantages..as you said its hard to find a supra for a good price without being ripped off or scammed...not sure about skylines...but since you have a shop importing it for you it shouldne be a problem...i am a die hard supra fan and i would def go for an mk4...but since the price of an mk4 is unreasonable....i would go for the r32...less chance of being ripped off by scammers..its pretty much your decision...let us know wut it comes down to

As it stands there are no supras for sale near my area, but the option is going to be weighed to death before i decide one over the other. The import company in my town is called SCI Motors. www.scimotors.com check it out, hah i know this is a supra forum but they're still equally lovable.

Hard Decision,

In my opinion the Skyline is cool but Ugly, The Supra has alot better looks than a r32 skyline it looks like an accord.

Ha Ha thats funny. Both of those cars are ANIMALS.Both they both have there ups and downs in everyones eyes. All wheel drive, rear wheel drive, both have decent factory turbos, yadda yadda etc.... really it depends on you.I gurantee you wont be unhappy with either choice.

I honestly don't see the big deal with skylines... cept if ur gonna drift it... I would take an MKiv over a skyline any day... I also wouldn't wanna go through the hassle of importing a skyline when I could import an st205 which there are only 4 of the in usa and pay ummmm... 20k less? lol... I say supra... and if u wanna import... get an RZ

THE SKYLINE HASSLE IS TRUE... IT WAS NEVER MENT TO BE IN THE STATES AND YOU HAVE TO DO A BUCH ON CRAP TO GET ONE HERE... BUT I WOULD GIVE IT MORE CREDIT.... PERSONALY I WOULD TAKE A SKYLINE....

( THEN SELL IT AND GET A BAD ASS MKIV..... LOL )

What if skylines where here and not supras??? There would be a fucken supra fever all over the US like the one with skylines... maybe even a bigger one especially because I think the mkiv look way better and the skyline would blend in to everything else on the road like evos, bmw, and anything 4 door and with no curves ... = 2002 impala lol

but siriously ( i cant spelL ) it is one HELL of a car. ( props given)
