Im at wits end

Is anybody on this site living in or near Oceanside, CA? I have a '91 Supra turbo that I picked up as a project (big mistake). Long and short of it: turbo boggs out around 5500 rpm, very similar to a car with a governer on it. As long as I am gradually increasing speed and not punching it what fun is that?) it's ok. Check engine light comes on briefly then goes out. I have recently had the turbo rebuilt (T-67), installed pulleys and a walbro 255 fuel pump, installed a MAF censor off a Lexus w/ Apexi air filter. I know the car has potential, however I'm days away from using it for a bonfire!!! If you're local and can assist me or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
