i want to swap my 85 mk2 with an mk3 1jz twin turbo. would the engine mount from the mk2 fit the mk3 1jz engine. do any body know. if not fits on mk2 supra than what kind of engine i can swap? do any body know.

well you can certainly make anything fit... the 1jz will need custom mounts to sit on the mk2 crossmember but any engineer should be able to make those for you

if custom mounts are too hard then you could slap in the 7mgte which has been done a few times so there should be info on the google train

so do i mounts both side of my mk2 engine mount or which side of the engine mount...only one side or both side.....

my 82 has a 2jztt and both mounts must be custom being a welder it comes in handy it toook me 2 monthes to sort the wiring, mounts, fuel pump....etc.. good luck anything is possible

Or u could go a 7mgte all the original supra mouts will bolt stright up. Even your original sump. just have to modify the oil pick up and oil filter and some other minor modifications...
