89 Supra Won't Start

I have a 1989 Toyota supra turbo that won't start. The key turns fine and all gauges and panel lights come on but the engine does not turn over. Please help, I just bought this car. CLWILLI

Check the TSRM, it will become your friend. Trust me. And I have the same problem, except when I try to turn mine over all the power cuts out.
It's either wiring or the starter.
If you are not on Supramania, I suggest joining over there as well, I find the members and posts to be more helpful over there.

Thank you for your responce. I forgot that when the alarm goes off you have to open the passenger side door lock to reset the starting system.
