1987 Toyota Supra Turbo Low miles for sale Chicago

For sale is a 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo with Targa Top with manual 5 speed transmission in excellent condition with 70,000 original miles. I am the third owner of this car, the first had it until late 2005 and she was an older female. The head gasket was replaced in early 2006 with a better than stock aftermarket one. If you do research on these cars you will know that they all blow the original Toyota ones, so this one is already taken car of. Also, has new metal aftermarket radiator, battery, clutch master cylinder. I bought new 7 spoke 17" rims and new tires in mid 2006 with about 5,000 on them now, original rims go with sale. The original paint is in excellent condition with the typical front and rear bumper paint fade that these cars are known for having. They could easily be repainted to match body color as original paint is very clean and still has excellent shine. I bought this car from Oklahoma so its totally rust free and hasn't seen snow or salt ever as I did not drive it during bad weather as did not the previous owners and it shows. Car runs excellent, but needs new cold start valve($100) so its starts a little funny but runs perfect with turbo working as it should. Targa top doesnt leak one bit either. Interior is in excellent condition as well with cloth seats very plush and carpet in excellent condition. The manual transmission will need new sychos in 2nd and 3rd soon with only notable shifting problems under very fast shifting, but car is still very driveable and wouldn't hestitate to take it anywhere. I replaced tranny gear oil with Mobile One Synthetic in 6/06 and within 2 weeks the sychros started acting up. Go figure. Rear differential gear oil was also replaced at same time. The Toyota Electronally Modulated Suspension(TEMS) works as it should as well. Serious inquires only, but $6000 price is negotiable. If your looking for a nice supra that was babied that hasn't been modified, but your looking to modify, this is the one. Call if you would like to see the car.
