Default How much should I pay for a Supra Turbo?

I got an email from one of my dads friends!

Quote:
Hi, Gavin. Del gave me your Email address and mentioned you were interested in buying my Supra. I have no idea what it is worth; perhaps you could give me an idea what I could get for it.

It's a 1991 with a rebuild engine ... Engine has new internals, such as cams, valves pistons and rings; it was rebuild with just over 120,000 miles on it. They also installed the CenterForce Stage II clutch. Was afraid that would add large 'leg' effort to engage, but it really feels like a stock clutch and works very smoothly.

The 'soup up' was done by Frank Soodle's Motor Sports ... installed 550 cc injectors with plug end and a 255 lph fuel pump kit; S-afc, Tanabe down pipe and Kat-back (stainless steel 3 1/2 inch exhaust) . He installed a special head gasket, I think a metal type. It needed a FuelCut-Defender as it was cutting out at low turbo pressures. It has the Greddy turbo kit with Boost Controller.

...

It is set up for hightest pump gas and tuned for street driving.

...

On the Dyno it put out 360 HorsePower and 360 foot-punds of torque to the rear wheels. It needs some revs to get the power out but around 3500 rpm it really kicks in and gets my attention. Gotta be a little more attentive at that point.

One thing I do have to say abvout the Supra it is a great street car and a pleasure to drive. It has plenty of torque at low revs, shifts nicely and handles well. It lives up to being a great touring sports car. And with all that power I still make 24 milesper gallon not too many pony cars can do that.

Since having the engine rebuild and engine mods put on it back in Nov 2005 I put about 7000 miles on it...
I know this guy personally and every few months I like to make sure he knows I want his car.

Any thoughts on how much I should offer him?

The car looks nearly new from the outside. Never drove it though and it's over 1200miles away from where I live. But if I had to make a guess it looks good on the inside and under the hood as well. He's the type of guy that'll keep all the gas receipts since he bought the car.

I also want to make sure it doesn't fall into the hand of his son. It'll be put to much better use if I had it.

I know the KKB value, but I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to aftermarket stuff.

P.S. Yeah note the post count. If I get the car I'm sure it'll go up.
