![]() Ok, I have a 1987 Supra, it's been my girl for 10 years. Lot's of money in restoring this car. I am curious what I should expect to get out of it. It's obvious I am not going to ask Blue Book, It's worth allot more to the right person. I just could use the cash for a down payment on a home. Car has a NEW, not rebuilt engine with about 5k on it, put on in the last 6 or 7 years. Many upgrades as you can see in the photos, here is a link to the pictures. Any help would be great! My e-mail is codyjamesuno@cox.net I have full resolution pictures if requested! ![]() Classic 1987 Toyota Supra! Must See, Super Clean! Last edited by turbobusaboy : 08-06-2008 at 04:51 AM. |

Looks really nice.
$7000 is a good price, if everything works, and other things have been replaced. ie: steering rack, alternator, water pump, radiator, etc. That's because the economy is in a recession, and whoever buys it will have to come up with all the cash, as they won't be able to get a loan.

Car does look really nice and well kept.
Depending on mods, and I mean, extensive mods (like 400-500 rwhp) then yea, maybe $7,000... to the right person... From your pictures, this is a N/A with no targa... which isn't going to help any. IMHO i would hope for $4,500 - $5,000 if the interior is nice as the outside is... Like mrnick said, no bank will loan out that kind of money for that car, so it would have to be cash... Once again, IMHO I'd keep the car and hope for better times, or wait for the right person to want it. I really don't think you will get out what you have in it, atleast not in this recession time were in... Best of luck with the sale, and house ![]()

That's why I am going to do with it, I am not going to give it away. I would take $7,000 for sure, but I don't think I would take anything less than $5,000. No way, I don't have to get rid of it, it's my baby, I don't want to, I just could use the cash for the house. Thanks for your help!
